Meeting Summary

ARC415-R - [REPEAT] Building Multi-Region Persistence with MySQL

Session Description

Do you want to learn how to achieve multi-region database persistence for your single-page web app backed by a container based backend on AWS? In this session, you will participate in a hands-on exercise where you create, verify, and test a single-page web app and container based backend that uses a relational database solution across multiple AWS regions. This exercise will use the following AWS services: AWS Fargate, Amazon Aurora with MySQL compatibility, Amazon S3, Amazon Route 53, AWS CodePipeline, AWS CodeDeploy, AWS CodeCommit, Amazon Elastic Container Registry (Amazon ECR), and AWS CloudFormation. Please note that participants will need to have general knowledge of Docker, MySQL, IAM, and some knowledge of ReactJS and Ruby. Participants are also required to have an AWS account before the session in order to run through this exercise.
