WPT202-S - We Power Tech: Everyday Actions to Be a Better Ally

Session Description

Have you ever thought, "I care about a more diverse and inclusive workplace, but what can I do? I’m not the VP of HR or Head of Diversity & Inclusion at my company." If so, you’re not alone. Knowing how to be a better ally for underrepresented people working in tech is unfamiliar territory for many of us. Yet, there are everyday actions we can take to create a more diverse and inclusive culture. Come to this session to learn about key challenges women and underrepresented minorities face in our tech workplaces and ways you can make a difference. Learn tips on how to sponsor, champion, amplify, and advocate for all. This session is brought to you by AWS partner, Accenture.
